Three people were arrested Tuesday morning after police uncovered drugs and an illegal firearm at a Visalia home, the Visalia Police Department said in a statement.

At 8:30 a.m., officers executed a search warrant at a residence near the intersection of Northwest Fourth Avenue and Strawberry Street, police said.

During the search, officers found Andrew Remigo, 21, in possession of a privately manufactured short-barreled rifle, known as a “ghost gun,” along with high-capacity magazines.

He was arrested on charges of possessing an assault weapon, an undetectable firearm, and criminal storage of a firearm.

Police also found Abel Remigo, 25, with marijuana packaged for sale while he was caring for a small child, authorities said.

He was arrested on suspicion of child endangerment and drug-related offenses.

Caressa Castro, 26, was also taken into custody on child endangerment charges.
