A woman suspected of robbing a Fresno credit union in November was arrested on Jan. 7 after officers tracked her down using surveillance footage, the Fresno Police Department said Monday.

The robbery occurred on Nov. 15, 2024, at the Noble Federal Credit Union on Tulare and O streets.

Police said the suspect entered the bank, approached a teller with a handwritten note, claimed to be armed, and demanded cash.

The teller complied, handing over about $1,000 in small bills before the suspect fled on a bicycle.

Detectives reviewed video footage from the bank and surrounding areas, developing a detailed description of the suspect.

On Jan. 5, a patrol officer spotted a woman matching the description in a be-on-the-lookout alert.

Detectives obtained a warrant and arrested the woman on Jan. 7 at a residence near Blackstone and Ashlan avenues.

During a search, officers recovered a bag believed to have been used in the robbery.

The woman was booked into the Fresno County Jail.
