Fresno Authorities Seek Public's Help to Locate Violent Man

The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Helan Lopez Sanchez, 29, who is wanted for assault with a deadly weapon.

Lopez Sanchez, described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 185 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair, has a history of violence and should be considered armed and dangerous, authorities said.

He is known to frequent the Mendota and Tranquillity areas.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact law enforcement immediately at (559) 600-3111 or Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-STOP (7867).

Tips can also be submitted online at www.valleycrimestoppers.org.

All tips will remain anonymous, and a $2,000 cash reward is being offered for information leading to his arrest.
