“The Majaree Mason Center continues to grow to meet the increasing need for services here in Fresno County,” said Nicole Linder, CEO of the Marjaree Mason Center. “Tiffany is joining us at a critical time. Our crisis response services are a huge part of what we do.
“It’s a survivor’s first step towards healing, where they’re met with immediate safety, emotional support, trauma-informed care, and empowerment as we work alongside them to address their most critical needs. This appointment comes with the pending completion of the center’s new Isnardi Foundation Building, which will double its service capacity.
The $21 million project, which began in 2018, will house a 24/7 trauma-informed crisis drop-in center and hotline, both headed by Apodaca, as well as all of the center’s non-residential survivor services. This includes individual counseling, group therapy, legal advocacy, children’s services, and prevention and early intervention efforts.
Construction is expected to wrap up this month, with services transitioning to the new facility by early February.
