Fresno bike officers conducted a traffic stop at Polk and Fairmont avenues after observing a vehicle code violation that led to two arrests, the Fresno Police Department reported on Friday morning.

During the stop, the driver initially provided false identification but was later identified by authorities.

Authorities discovered the driver was on probation for domestic violence against a dependent adult or disabled person and on parole for felony burglary.

A probation search of his residence led officers to locate a stolen revolver, brass knuckles, narcotics, drug paraphernalia, ammunition, and a concealed knife.

The driver was arrested for his parole violation and for providing false identification to police.

A second man, found during the search, was identified as being on parole for felony evading.

He was arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm, ammunition, brass knuckles, and the concealed knife, along with charges related to receiving stolen property, possession of narcotics, and parole violation.

Both men were booked into Fresno County Jail.
