A Fresno County DUI driver should be his blessings after drifting onto the shoulder and slamming into a Sanger power pole, the California Highway Patrol reported on Wednesday.

Authorities said that this crash caused hundreds of homes to be left without power.

Officers reported that the driver was able to escape injury. The driver was arrested and booked in the Fresno County Jail.

The CHP reminds everyone not to drink and drive, especially with holiday parties around the corner.
