Fresno Firefighters Tackle Another Structure Blaze. How Many Have There Been This Year?

Fresno firefighters battled a structure fire late Monday night in central Fresno, marking the 1,031st structure fire this year, the Fresno Fire Department said on social media.

Crews were dispatched shortly before midnight to a home on North Angus Street, where they encountered flames engulfing the rear of the structure.

No injuries were reported, but the home sustained significant damage.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation, according to fire officials.
