Decision Desk HQ projects former President Trump has won a second term after securing Pennsylvania and Alaska to reach 270 electoral votes, defeating Vice President Harris, The Hill reported.
This marks Trump’s comeback as the first president in over 120 years to win after previously losing office.
Trump’s campaign, with Sen. JD Vance as his running mate, emphasized rising costs, border concerns, and global instability, drawing increased support from Latino voters, rural areas, and young men. His pledges include expanded deportations, extended tax cuts, and a rollback of environmental and education policies.
Despite legal troubles and initial skepticism within the GOP, Trump won the nomination easily and recovered in the polls as Election Day neared.
Now the oldest person ever elected president, Trump returns to the White House, term-limited by the 22nd Amendment.
