A McNab mix named Dani, once close to facing euthanasia due to extreme shyness, has found a second chance with a foster family.

The pup’s journey began after a social media post highlighted her precarious position at the shelter.

Days passed, and as the week ended with no adoption in sight, a local foster family stepped up saying they will foster her.

After swift communication with the shelter, the family picked up Dani the very next day.

Help Dani Come out of Her Shell

Though Dani remains shy, she’s making remarkable progress in her new environment.

Just a year old, she’s slowly learning to enjoy car rides and adores playing with other dogs.

Her foster family notes that with the right family — one patient with her shyness and familiar with her breed — Dani is bound to blossom.

Prospective adopters must submit an adoption application for review to ensure the best match for each pup.
