Trick ‘r’ treat, smell my feet, Halloween and this weekend’s events will be hard to beat.

Halloween falls on a Thursday, but spooky festivities are going down at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo and Fashion Fair Mall.

Celebrate Native American Heritage Night on Saturday when Fresno State takes on Hawai’i at home in football.

Rock fans rejoice as tributes to AC/DC, Ozzy Osbourne, The Beatles, and The Eagles come to the Central Valley.

Fresno State vs Hawai’i

The Bulldogs will wear a special helmet decal to honor the Native American community in the Mountain West matchup as they strive for their third straight win.

Fresno State leads the series 30-24-1 is 16-9-1 all time at home against the Rainbow Warriors. Expect a battle of two of the conference’s top quarterbacks in Mikey Keene and Brayden Schager. They rank among the top three in the conference in four different QB statistics.

AC/DC Versus Ozzy

A rock ‘n’ roll showdown between tribute bands will go down at the Tower Theatre on Saturday with AC/DC Versus Ozzy. In one corner, there’s Noise Pollution-The AC/DC Experience. In the other corner is Mr. Crowley-The Ozzy Osbourne Experience.

Expect to hear AC/DC classics like “Back to Black” and “You Shook Me All Night.” With Ozzy, look forward to anthems like “Crazy Train,” “A Shot in the Dark,” “and Bark at the Moon.” Both bands will have you feeling “thunderstruck” and “flying high again” when it’s over.

ZooBoo 21 and Over Night

ZooBoo for 21 and over is at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo on Thursday. Enjoy Halloween-themed alcoholic beverages, mocktails, and food trucks curated by Fresno Street Eats.

Take part in the costume contest hosted by FOX26ā€™s Alexis Govea. A drone show will light up the savanna at night.

The Fab Four: USA Meets The Beatles!

Beatlemania comes to the Tower on Sunday with The Fab Four-The Ultimate Tribute. The 2024 tour brings their all-new show to the stage, celebrating The Beatlesā€™ first visit to the USA. The instrumentation, voices, and wardrobe, even the haircuts, will have you believing you’re watching the boys from Liverpool come alive.

They’ve won an Emmy Award. They’ll play classics like “Can’t Buy Me Love,” “Yesterday,” “A Day In The Life,” “Twist And Shout,” “Here Comes The Sun,” and “Hey Jude.” Their performances include three costume changes representing every era of the Beatles ever-changing career. The band has entertained audiences all over the world.

Two Cities Marathon

In its 16th year and presented by CalViva Health, the Two Cities Marathon rolls through Fresno and Clovis on Sunday. Unique features of the Boston qualifying marathon distance include the Boston Challenge and $8,000 in prize money.

All participants will receive a commemorative hoodie sweatshirt and performance shirt, and the newly designed finisher medals. At the Finisher Village, a free hot breakfast and ice cream sundaes will reward participants. You can listen to live music on the Michelob Ultra Stage and enjoy refreshments at the Celebration Michelob Ultra Beer Garden.

The festivities will begin on Saturday with the Valley Fitness Expo at The Well Community Church-Clovis Campus. It will host thousands of health and fitness enthusiasts.

The Fall 2024 Wine Club Pickup Party Winemaker Dinner will take place at Toca Madera Winery on Saturday. Enjoy a delicious four-course menu prepared by winemaker, Shayne Vetter. No-Knock Comedy Show Headlining Danny Minch, Thursday

Stand-up comedian Danny Minch performs Thursday at DiCiccoā€™s Old Town Clovis for the No-Knock Comedy Show. Minch, known for his work in the Central Valley comedy scene, has opened for comedians Brad Garrett, Jim Jefferies, Bob Zany, and Kabir Singh.

One of these Nights ā€“ Songs of The Eagles, Saturday

One of these Nights-Songs of The Eagles will bring the spirit of the band back to life at the Visalia Fox Theatre on Saturday. Blending five-part harmonies and 3 guitars, the tribute band portrays the sound and presentation of the legendary group accurately. Expect to hear classics like “Best of My Love,” “Witchy Woman,” “Lyinā€™ Eyes,” “The Long Run,” and “Hotel California.”

Fresno Fall Home Improvement Show, Friday – Sunday

The Annual Fresno Fall Home Improvement Show and Tiny House Expo returns to the Fresno Fairgrounds and will go on the whole weekend. Tour the tiny homes and meet the builders in person. Included is a Tiny House Seminar Series where leaders in the industry will share whatā€™s happening with zoning/building requirements and what tiny living is all about. Gourmet and fair food will be available.

Old Town Flea Market, Saturday and Sunday

The Old Town Flea Market returns to the Clovis Rodeo Grounds on Saturday and Sunday. There’ll be a carefully curated roster of vendors and food trucks. Expect to see unique, urban, vintage, antique, and repurposed art, jewelry, clothing, and furniture.

Join Fashion Fair for a fun Trick-or-Treat experience on Thursday for Halloween. Bring your kids (under the age of 10) to the mall and journey from store to store to fill your bags with candy. Look for the pumpkin in each store entrance to see who’s participating.
