A stabbing in Orosi early Sunday left one man in critical but stable condition, according to the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office. The suspect remains at large.

The incident took place just after midnight on Sunday, in the 11100 block of Avenue 424.

Deputies responded to reports of an assault at a home where they discovered that a fight between two men had turned violent.

During the altercation, one man pulled out a knife and attacked the other, inflicting wounds to the torso and head, authorities said.

The injured man was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he is still receiving treatment for his injuries.

The suspect fled the scene before deputies arrived, and authorities are actively searching for him.

The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information about the incident to call 559-733-6218.
