Seth Andrew Mattocks, 40, of Fresno, has been arrested and booked into Fresno County Jail on felony charges of possession of child sexual abuse material, according to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Department on Thursday.

Mattocks is not eligible for bail.

On Thursday, members of the Central Valley Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force served a search warrant at a home near Maple and Normal avenues in Fresno.

Detectives arrested Mattocks at his home and seized electronic devices containing child sexual abuse images.

Authorities encourage anyone with information related to this case to contact the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office at (559) 600-3111 or Valley Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-7867.

Callers may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward. Refer to case #24-11772.

Law enforcement urges the public to stay vigilant online, advising parents to monitor their children’s internet use and maintain open communication about potential online dangers, as predators often disguise themselves.

Report suspicious activity to authorities or through the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
