Fresno Man Arrested in Fatal Shooting on East Floradora Avenue

Fresno Police have arrested Ronald Zavala Ebanez, 41, in connection with the fatal shooting of Ricardo Martinez Olguin, 40, early Sunday morning, the Fresno Police Department said in a news release.

Officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert around 4 a.m. in the 4400 block of East Floradora Avenue, where they found Olguin suffering from multiple gunshot wounds near his bicycle.

He told officers that the shooter was an unknown individual on a bicycle before being transported to Community Regional Medical Center, where he later died.

Homicide detectives identified Ebanez as the suspect and arrested him on charges of murder and assault with a firearm.

Ebanez is being held at Fresno County Jail.
