Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Meet Bentley, the 25-pound, bright-eyed ball of energy who’s turning heads and melting hearts. At about 5 years old, Bentley has an origin story as unique as his personality.

After a DNA test left his rescuers scratching their heads, they finally got an answer: Bentley is officially a supermutt — yes, that’s the technical term! The test revealed a mix of chihuahua, border collie, shih tzu, cocker spaniel, Pekingese, and a dash of pure awesome.

Bentley’s adventure began when he was found wandering alone in a Good Samaritan’s front yard. Sporting a collar and tags, his rescuers hoped to reunite him with his family. But after following a trail of clues that led to a dead end, Bentley’s journey took a new turn — into the arms of a rescue.

Now, after a full year in the care of his new friends, Bentley is ready for the next chapter: finding his forever home.

Bentley’s a people person (or dog!), and he can’t contain his excitement when he meets someone new. He’s a bundle of athleticism and energy, the perfect companion for hikes or bike rides. But after an adventure, he’s just as happy to snuggle up and relax.

This “supermutt” has it all — energy, charm, and a heart of gold. All he needs now is a family who can appreciate his unique breed blend and give him the loving home he deserves.

If you’re looking for a dog with personality, athleticism, and plenty of love to give, Bentley is your guy!

Prospective adopters must submit an adoption application for review to ensure the best match for each pup.
