Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Bijou, a 9-month-old long-haired tabby beauty, is a jewel in fur form. Her luxurious and soft fur, adorned with the classic swirly tabby pattern, makes her a visual delight. Those gorgeous big eyes? Prepare to have your heart melted.

Bijou, whose name means jewel in French, lives up to her title. When their mama cat wasn’t getting enough nutrition to continue to feed her kittens, she did what she could to help her babies. She put them out where people would find them in an apartment complex.

Bijou and her siblings were found and brought into The Cat House for needed help. An exhaustive search was done for their mom. The three tiny, dehydrated kittens went into foster care after receiving needed medical care.

Raised with other cats, kittens, and a small dog, Bijou’s the gem you’ve been searching for to complete your fur-mily. Adopt Bijou, and let the sparkle of her presence illuminate your home!

To adopt Bijou, or see other available cats and kittens, visit The Cat House on the Kings.

All adoptable animals are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, treated for fleas, and litterbox trained.

The nonprofit Cat House on the Kings is California’s largest no-cage, no-kill, lifetime cat sanctuary and adoption center.

Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio), the Republican candidate for vice president, speaks to reporters in San Diego during a visit to the border with Mexico on Friday, Sept. 6, 2024. A falsehood that migrants have killed wild animals and household pets for food ricocheted around the internet this week, vaulting from fringe social media posts to a Trump campaign talking point in a matter of days.
