The motorcyclist killed in the crash was identified as Josh Cowdrey, 37, of Clovis.
Original Story
The Clovis Police Department closed Barstow Avenue between Sunnyside and Fowler avenues Wednesday morning following a fatal collision involving a motorcycle and an SUV.

The driver of the SUV, Tammera Pittman, 57, of Clovis, was detained on suspicion of driving under the influence after the crash.
Pittman is being held in the Fresno County Jail and faces charges of felony DUI, gross vehicular manslaughter, and other related charges.

The identity of the deceased adult male motorcycle rider has not been released.
