Hear all sides of the contentious debate over a proposed market-rate apartment complex in northwest Fresno rejected by the City Council on Thursday, July 25.

Despite city staff saying that the developer went above and beyond design requirements, councilmember Mike Karbassi said the 82-unit, four-story complex did not conform to design standards. Karbassi told GV Wire that the design was too close to nearby Herndon Avenue.
