Gage Mason, 20, of Fresno, was sentenced to 29 years in state prison on Friday for sexually assaulting multiple children and a dog, the Fresno District Attorney’s Office said in a news release.

Mason pleaded guilty to all charges and aggravating factors on June 5. In addition to the prison term, Mason will be required to register as a sex offender.

The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office initiated its investigation on April 5, 2023, after receiving reports of sexual assault involving minors. Mason was arrested and booked into the Fresno County Jail on April 19, 2023.

Senior Deputy DA Justine Keel led the prosecution with support from Senior DA investigator Janie Pulido.
