Four Firefighters Injured While Fighting Mariposa's French Fire

The French Fire, spanning 908 acres in Mariposa, has injured four firefighters as they work to achieve 60% containment, according to CalFire.

As of Monday morning, the blaze has destroyed 11 buildings and damaging seven. It threatens another 830.

Resources dedicated to fighting the fire include 981 personnel, 28 hand crews, 77 engines, 15 dozers, and 17 water tenders.

Evacuations and Road Closures

All evacuations warning have been lifted in residential areas. the current closed areas are the Stockton Creek Reservoir and TrailRoad to Mariposa County High School.
