Hawaii Gov. Josh Green says President Biden has not yet decided on a second term, as reported Thursday by NPR.
In an NPR interview, Green mentioned Biden might pass the baton to Vice President Kamala Harris if he doubts his ability to defeat Donald Trump.
Following a poor debate performance, Green, a close Biden ally, expressed full support for the president but acknowledged concerns about Biden’s health. During a meeting with 25 Democratic governors, Biden attributed his debate issues to exhaustion and being “under the weather.”

Despite questions about Biden’s candidacy, Green highlighted Biden’s commitment, citing a fundraising email where Biden stated, “I’m not leaving.” Other Democratic governors, including New York Gov. Kathy Hochul and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, also expressed their support for Biden.
“President Joe Biden is in it to win it,” Hochul said.
