Missing Four-Year-Old Boy at Huntington Lake Is Found, Sheriff's Office Says

Update, 8:50 a.m., Friday, June 21

A Fresno County Sheriff Office’s spokesman told GV Wire on Friday morning that Christian Ramirez, a missing 4-year-old boy, was found at Huntington Lake.

The youth was described as physically OK, but tired and hungry. He was found not too far from camp.

Authorities are searching for a 4-year-old boy reported missing from the Rancheria Campground shortly before 11 a.m. on Thursday.

The family of Christian Ramirez last saw him wearing a gray Volcom t-shirt, blue shorts, and gray Nike shoes.

The search effort for Christian involves the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue team, the Air Support Unit, Forest Service rangers, and California Fish & Wildlife officers. They are concentrating their efforts in the northeastern area of Huntington Lake and Rancheria Campground.

Anyone with information regarding Christian’s whereabouts is urged to call 911 or the Sheriff’s Office non-emergency line at (559) 600-3111.
