Jose Solorio, a Fresno Brown Beret, used his public comment time at Thursday’s city council meeting to excoriate the council for not passing a resolution supporting a cease-fire in Gaza and demanded that the city disinvest from corporations that do business from Israel.
In addition, he cursed councilmember Garry Bredefeld, a staunch Israel supporter. Meanwhile, his fellow Brown Berets stomped on U.S. and Israeli flags before ripping them apart.
