Netflix has unveiled its latest sports series, “Receiver,” which will spotlight the 2023 NFL season’s pass catchers, including Davante Adams, Justin Jefferson, George Kittle, Deebo Samuel, and Amon-Ra St. Brown.

The eight-episode series, set to debut in the summer of 2024, is a product of Netflix’s ongoing collaboration with the NFL, which began with the successful “Quarterback” series.

“Receiver,” produced by NFL Films, Omaha Productions, and 2PM Productions, features executive producers Ross Ketover, Pat Kelleher, and Keith Cossrow from NFL Films; Peyton Manning and Jamie Horowitz from Omaha Productions; and Patrick Mahomes from 2PM Productions.

Netflix’s VP of nonfiction sports, Gabe Spitzer, expressed excitement about the new series, noting that it will continue to highlight the drama of the sport both on and off the field. Joe Zucco, supervising producer at NFL Films, echoed this sentiment, stating that the unique skills and dedication of the NFL’s top wide receivers will make for a compelling follow-up to the “Quarterback” series.

Netflix continues to be a leading platform for sports stories, partnering with various sports leagues and offering a diverse lineup of sports programming, including “Formula 1: Drive To Survive,” “Full Swing,” “NASCAR: Full Speed,” “Untold,” and more.
