Topping this week’s list, a diverse political coalition announced its opposition to Measure E, a proposed countywide .25% sales tax increase benefitting Fresno State academics and athletics, on Monday. The coalition was comprised of local Democrat, Republican, and Libertarian leaders and business people speaking out against the new $1.4 billion proposal on the March 5 ballot.
