A local San Francisco 49ers fan club does a lot more than tailgate and watch football.

They donate their time in positive ways by cleaning a section of Highway 99 and raising money for local charities and causes.

With more than 285 members, the nonprofit Niner Empire Club Fresno Chapter can’t wait for Sunday’s Super Bowl kickoff between the 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.

They also have a message for Pat Mahomes & Company: “We’re coming to get you!”

One more thing: the Niner Empire Club is always looking for people who are passionate about the 49ers and helping the Fresno community.

Check out their Facebook page at this link.
