Is Fresno done growing?

Nearly two decades ago, then Fresno Mayor Alan Autry rolled out the blueprints for a master-planned community in southeast Fresno. Those plans were cheered as cutting edge and leaders applauded the coming massive investment on Fresno’s often-overlooked south side.

However, that community has yet to break ground. GV Wire’s Edward Smith sits down with Fox 26 Great Day anchor Jim De La Vega to discuss why Fresno Mayor Jerry Dyer has tapped the brakes on the southeast development area.
