Apple has announced a news conference at its Cupertino headquarters on September 12, where the tech giant is anticipated to unveil the latest models of its iPhone product line, possibly named iPhone 15. The event will be broadcast live on Apple’s website at 1 p.m. ET, continuing a trend of pre-recorded launches that began in 2020.

Anticipated Features of New Devices

The upcoming iPhones are predicted to feature USB-C charging ports, in compliance with a recent EU regulation demanding all mobile devices sold within its jurisdiction to support USB-C for wired charging by December 28, 2024.

Rumors suggest that Apple may introduce devices made of titanium at the event. Additionally, new versions of the Apple Watch, including an updated Apple Watch Ultra, could be revealed.

Introduction of iOS 17

The company generally introduces the latest version of its iOS software at the September event. This year, iOS 17 is said to include enhanced caller ID visuals known as contact posters, improved autocorrect features, and a novel journaling application.
