At about 11:15 Sunday night, Fresno County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Jonathan Davis was dispatched to a call of puppies abandoned on the side of the road near Raisin City.
Davis, who is not a K9 handler, coaxed the puppies into his patrol vehicle and transported them to Fresno Humane Animal Services for safekeeping, the sheriff’s office reports.
