City of Fresno Has 99 Problems But This Road Ain't One

What you need to know

  1. Fresno City Council President Tyler Maxwell announced the repaving of a street at Chestnut & Weldon that was last repaved 57 years ago.
  2. The majority of funds for street repairs in Fresno actually come from state and federal grants. Fresno hMeasure hopes to obtain additional local funds from a future renewal of Measure C.
  3. The city council put aside $800,000 to be invested in the neighborhoods surrounding the Fresno-Yosemite airport. A street light will be coming to the Chestnut & Weldon intersection.
