Today's Biggest Lie on Social Media: 'Special Forces' Arrest Former President
Share
On Nov. 15, the conspiracy website Real Raw News published a story claiming that “Special Forces” arrested former President George W. Bush at his Texas ranch.
“The Real Raw News story about Bush getting arrested at his ranch in Texas is dramatic, cinematic, and fanciful. But there’s no truth to it, and it is purely a work of fiction,” said the fact-checking website Snopes.
What’s more, fabricated stories about Bush being arrested have circulated on the internet since 2004.
