Policing districts across Fresno partnered with local organizations to set up events. Fresno PD Chief Paco Balderrama visited each of the district event Tuesday night.

Department spokesman Lt. Bill Dooley said that activities like National Night Out are important.

“Our goal has always been to develop and maintain positive relations with our community,” said Dooley. “Plenty of community members, especially kids had the chance to meet officers on a personal level…and vice versa.”

Neighborhood events included food vendors, bounce houses, games, raffles, and lots of snow cones.
