Police are looking for a 22 year-old homeless man wanted for a series of northwest Fresno home and vehicle break-ins.

Property crimes detectives with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office say Christian Reyes is known to frequent the Pinedale area and neighborhoods near Barstow and Marks avenues. During the past year, he has committed crimes between the hours of midnight and 4 a.m., according to a post on the Sheriff’s Office Facebook page.

The post said he often rides a BMX style bicycle, which can be seen in video authorities shared on the social media site. Reyes is also wanted by the Fresno Police Department.

Reyes is described as 5’6″ tall and 170 lbs. with brown eyes and black hair. He has a tattoo on his right arm with the inscription “RIP Gene.”

The Sheriff’s Office said he was jailed in April on a weapons charge and was released on the day he was arrested due to the state’s Zero Dollar Bail rule.

Anyone with information on Reyes’ whereabout is asked to contact Det. Garrett Majors at (559) 600-8711 or Garrett.Majors@fresnosheriff.org. Anonymous tips can be made to Valley Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-7867 or at www.valleycrimestoppers.org.
