The progressive digital media site act.tv launched a video compilation Friday of prominent Republicans criticizing Donald Trump before he was elected to the White House.
Here is a sampling of what some Republican senators said:
Rand Paul: “My concern is that he would grab up that power and really treat the country as sort of his little bully fiefdom.”
Ted Cruz: “The man cannot tell the truth. … a narcissist at a level I don’t think this country’s ever seen.”
Marco Rubio: “Donald Trump is a con artist.”
Lindsey Graham: “He’s a race-baiting, xenophobic, religious bigot.” And, “I think he’s a kook. I think he’s crazy. I think he’s unfit for office.”
Within four hours on Twitter, “They All Knew” had more than 1.2 million views, 12,000 retweets, and 16,000 likes.
