House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) criticized a proposal to give unemployed workers 70% of their wages as being overly complicated for states to manage, arguing that over 60% of American supported a “flat amount” instead, as Democrats and Republicans prepare to negotiate the next stimulus bill in Congress this week.
