Fresno County Superior Court is seeking approval to substantially cut operations amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the court said in a news release Tuesday night.
If the emergency request is granted by state Chief Supreme Court Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye, there would be a maximum of seven courtrooms used among the county’s four courthouse locations.
In addition, the court would handle only essential legal matters.
Anyone with court business is asked to visit the court’s website for specific details.
