How’s this for perfect timing?
The week after Democrats in the House of Representatives launched an impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump, one of the nation’s top journalists, Robert Costa, is the guest speaker tonight for the President’s Lecture Series at Fresno State.

Listen to this article:

Costa, a national political reporter with The Washington Post and moderator for “Washington Week” on PBS, will offer insights on President Trump, Congress, and the 2020 presidential election.

Event Information

The 7 p.m. event is free, including parking, and open to the public. Doors to the Save Mart Center will open at 5:30 p.m. to allow time for security measures as guests enter the arena. No backpacks are allowed.

The Format

Following his talk, Costa will moderate a panel of Fresno State students and professors in a discussion of state and national issues. The event will conclude with audience questions.
The panelists are:

  • Lisa Bryant, professor of political science
  • James Rocha, professor of philosophy
