Numerous sources have told GV Wire that Jeff Negrete is no longer the market president at the iHeart Radio station group in Fresno.  The longtime local radio executive reportedly left Monday.

Negrete oversaw stations like Power Talk 96.7/1400, Soft Rock 98.9, B95, 102.7 The Wolf, La Preciosa 92.9, Fox Sports Radio 1340 among others.

Neither the Fresno office nor the iHeart corporate office would comment.

Negrete also played football for Fresno State as a linebacker. He earned letters in 1983 and 1984. He later became the son-in-law of his legendary coach Jim Sweeney. He also serves on the board of Poverello House.
