Johnny's career began on stage; where he was able to explore different techniques in acting, directing and lighting while attended both the Stella Adler Conservatory and the Lee Strasberg Institute in Los Angeles. During that time, he also worked as a director and editor for two major advertising agencies, and produced everything from feature-length films to multi-camera live broadcasts before returning back home to Fresno.
