Please join us for Fresno Chaffee Zoo’s Dia de los Muertos celebration! We are excited to invite the community to participate in crafts, educational activities, and entertainment on Sunday, November 3rd from 9 am – 3 pm. We are excited to feature local programming from community members and would like to extend the invitation to local community-based organizations that may be interested in a resource booth or vendor opportunity at the event.

We are also excited to invite community-based organizations to participate in designing creative art installations inspired by Mexican culture and Dia de los Muertos – this can be anything from zoo-themed alebrijes, sugar skulls, or ofrendas – the choice is yours! Participating organizations will be eligible for a community award for best installation, voted on by the public.
