Hanford police arrested three people in connection with the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old male at the Casa Del Sol Apartments on Friday, the department said in a statement on Saturday.
Officers responded around 10:18 a.m. and found the victim suffering from a single gunshot wound. The teen was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators identified Famous Hinton, 19, and Pasha Evins, 25, as suspects in the homicide.
A grey SUV linked to the suspects was later found in the 800 block of Ogden Street. With assistance from the Kings County SWAT Team and California Highway Patrol, Hinton, Evins, and Elise Hernandez, 25, who was traveling with them, were apprehended in Southern California after trying to flee.
Hinton and Evins face charges of murder and conspiracy, while Hernandez was charged with aiding and abetting and being an accessory after the fact.
All three were booked into Kings County Jail.
