OpenAI experienced a possible outage Tuesday, with thousands of users reporting issues, according to Downdetector.com.

More than 23,000 users had reported problems with the platform as of 11:43 a.m. PT, according to Downdetector, which tracks outages by collecting status reports from multiple sources.

Most users reporting problems to Downdetector said they were experiencing ChatGPT issues. Some have reported issues with OpenAI’s website and API.

Update at 11:50 a.m.

More than 36,000 users reported issues with OpenAI on Downdetector.

Update at 11:55 a.m.

More than 56,000 users have reported issues with OpenAI.

Update at 12:08 a.m.

User reports have slowed, with the latest update showing about 60,000 total affected.
