Candlelight: Tribute to Coldplay and Featuring Vivaldiās Four Seasons
Candlelight is a series of concerts performed by classically trained musicians while surrounded by LED candles, giving it a dramatic effect. They’ve played in Fresno this summer and return this weekend with two performances at The Grand 1401.
On Friday theyāll do a strings tribute to Coldplayās majestic sounds. Expect the bandās defining songs like āClocks,ā āMy Universe,ā and āSpeed of Sound.ā
Then, on Saturday, theyāll perform Vivaldiās Four Seasons and more.
I’ve seen this show in-person; it was a tribute to the music of Adele. They sell it as a unique experience and it is. The musicians are first rate, and the candles make the show epic.
