gvwireFresno County Superior Court is seeking approval to substantially cut operations amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the court said in a news release Tuesday night.
If the emergency request is granted by state Chief Supreme Court Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye, there would be a maximum of seven courtrooms used among the county’s four courthouse locations.
In addition, the court would handle only essential legal matters.
